What stays on your device

The app stores presets, history, and settings in your browser using localStorage. This includes:

• QR customization presets and editor state
• Recent QR generation history and scanned QR history
• Product label drafts and layout preferences
• Theme, language, and consent preferences

This data stays on your device unless you clear your browser storage or use an optional server-backed feature described below.

When data is sent to our servers

We only receive data if you choose to use these optional features:

• Dynamic QR analytics— If you create a tracked dynamic QR link, scan events are logged when someone opens the link. This may include the scan timestamp, device type, and approximate location derived from the visitor's IP address. Destination URLs are stored so you can update them without reprinting the QR.
• Smart Style Suggestion (AI) — If you use this feature, the text description or logo image you provide is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate style suggestions. Google processes this input under its own terms. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Auto-translate content (AI)— If you manually enable content translation, selected text fields are sent to Google's Gemini API. This is opt-in and separate from the UI language switcher.
• Contact form — If you email us through the contact page, we receive the name, email, and message you submit.
• Hosted business cards — If you publish a digital business card, the contact fields you submit are stored to serve the public card page.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not share your data with third parties for advertising.
• We do not require an account for core QR or label generation.

Analytics cookies

If you accept the cookie notice, we may load Google Analytics to understand general site usage. You can dismiss the notice without enabling analytics.
