Printing amplifies small mistakes. Export at 2x or 3x scale for sharp edges, keep quiet zones intact, and test with both iPhone and Android cameras before mass production.
Minimum size rule
For close-range scanning (business cards), aim for at least 2 cm square. For posters viewed from a distance, go larger and prefer simpler dot styles.
Use Verify QR and the scannability panel after every major visual change.
